APQA: Certified, Traceable and Sustainable Marine By-Products
At APQA Private Limited, we ensure that every raw material we use is responsibly sourced, fully traceable, and processed with sustainability at its core. With our dedicated procurement facility and strong network of certified partners, we transform marine by-products into valuable ingredients for diverse industries.
- For our shrimp-based products, we source exclusively from Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified production plants, which are also EU-approved. All materials are backed with traceable certifications, guaranteeing transparency and global compliance.
- For fish scales, we procure from both BAP-certified plants and MPEDA-authorized local vendors. We collect large volumes of premium fish scales, which are converted into demineralized fish scales and further refined into high-value products.
India’s rich fisheries ecosystem — with its 8,100 km coastline, 8,523 km of riverine length, and millions of hectares of ponds and brackish waters — provides an abundant and reliable source of raw materials. Leveraging these resources, along with scientific expertise and government support, APQA is able to scale responsibly while minimizing waste.
